Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
WNYPress services are intended for legitimate business and personal use. This Acceptable Use Policy establishes activities that are not permitted when using WNYPress websites, software, hosting products, applications, accounts, or infrastructure.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use WNYPress services to:
Violate applicable laws or regulations.
Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights belonging to others.
Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, malicious scripts, or other harmful software.
Conduct phishing, credential theft, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive activity.
Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam.
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, networks, systems, or data.
Interfere with or intentionally disrupt WNYPress infrastructure or another customer’s services.
Circumvent authentication, security controls, access restrictions, or usage limits.
Host or distribute content when doing so would violate applicable law.
Use WNYPress infrastructure to attack, scan, exploit, or compromise third-party systems without authorization.
Resource Abuse
Customers may not intentionally use shared resources in a manner that materially interferes with service for other customers or threatens the security or stability of WNYPress systems.
Security
If you discover a potential security vulnerability involving WNYPress, please report it to us rather than attempting to exploit it or access information belonging to another customer.
Enforcement
Depending upon the circumstances, WNYPress may contact the account holder, restrict affected functionality, suspend service, or terminate service when reasonably necessary to protect customers, WNYPress infrastructure, or third parties.
Where practical and appropriate, we will attempt to contact the customer before taking disruptive action.
